Every X-Series camera with Classic Negative. Full 15/15 compatibility with X100VI, X100V, X-T5, X-T4, X-T50, X-H2, X-H2S, X-S20, X-S10, X-Pro3, X-E4, X-T30 II, X-M5, X-E5, and X-T30 III. The X-T3 and X-T30 support 11 of 15 settings (no Classic Neg, no FX Blue, no Clarity, no Grain Size).
Manual entry. You get a PDF with 15 values and you type them into your camera's Custom Settings menu. Takes about 90 seconds. I find this approach more reliable than preset files, and it works on every Fujifilm body regardless of firmware.
Shooting menu → Image Quality Settings → Custom Settings → pick a slot (C1 is a good one) → match each of the 15 values from the PDF. The PDF walks you through it with the exact menu path for X100VI. Other bodies are almost identical.
JPEG. The whole point of a Fujifilm recipe is to nail the look in-camera so you never have to edit. You can shoot RAW+JPEG if you want a backup, but the recipe only affects the JPEG output.
No. The recipe is licensed for personal use only — personal projects and portfolio work are fine, but you can't use it on paid client shoots, resell it, or share the settings with other photographers. For commercial licensing, email me at cowanfilm@gmail.com.
Email me at cowanfilm@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase and I'll refund you, no questions asked. I want people who love the recipe, not people who feel stuck with it.
